It comes with two batteries (prices on these batteries vary widely!!), and the instructions say: "10hrs HIGH (Maximum Output: 5 hrs), 40hrs LOW and 20hrs FLASHING." Not sure how "Maximum Output" is different from "HIGH." I am so impressed by the brilliance of the light!!!! I have several flashlights (10+) ranging from 25-85 lumens. This little flashlight outshines them all by a very significant margin. I recommend this product for home and recreational use. The housing is constructed of thin lightweight aluminum. I don't think it would hold up to the rigors of heavy duty usage or abusive environments. Great bang for the buck. Another website sells an earlier version of this 130 lumen flashlight for less.
